  • Red Bird's Youth Choir

    Introducing Red Bird’s Youth Choir! This program is a vibrant, inclusive ensemble for singers ages 10–18 who are eager to grow their musical skills and express themselves through song. Open to all experience levels, the choir provides a supportive environment where young voices can develop healthy vocal technique, build confidence, and explore a wide range of musical styles. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends.

  • Musical Theatre

    Come sing in our Musical Theatre Class! This class is designed for students who love the world of Broadway and want to spotlight their singing skills. While elements of acting and movement are included, this class emphasizes vocal technique, musical storytelling, and performance skills that help young performers shine on stage. Students will learn songs from a selection of musicals, learn to sing with healthy vocal technique, and sing in harmony. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends.

  • Ukulele Club

    This program is open to new ukers and students with playing experience. Students will gather together and get comfortable playing the ukulele. In this class you will learn new chords by playing popular songs all while sharing your love for music with others. Singing along is encouraged! The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends.

  • Jam with Owen

    This program is open to any young musician that wants to play music in a group setting and have some fun! Led by the talented Owen Glossop, students will gather with their guitars, ukuleles, hand drums etc., and learn how to play popular songs while focusing on cohesiveness and what it means to play with others. Singing along is highly encouraged! Basic knowledge of a primary instrument is required.

  • Early Music Education

    Early music education is a program designed for children who are too young to start private lessons, but are eager to explore the joys of music. This class will act as an introduction to music concepts including basic theory, rhythm, melody, singing and playing together, and the value of entertainment and fun while performing.

  • Girls and Beyond Rock Band

    For many, Rock ‘n Roll looks like a lot of fun, but not entirely inclusive. We get it. If this sounds like you, and you’re ready to rock, join our Girls & Beyond Rock Band program. In this program, students will learn the basics of musicianship and blending instruments in a rock band setting. Bandmates will collaborate with one another, arrange songs, gain confidence with their stage presence and learn what it means to be in a band. Each participant will take on multiple roles in the band, and will not necessarily spend all their time on their primary instrument. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends. All instrumentalists are welcome, but space is limited. Experience with music and a primary instrument is required. Please email lessons@redbirdlive.ca to register.

  • Advanced Ukulele Ensemble

    Come strum, pick, and play your ukulele with a group. Learn to play folk and pop songs using notation. This program is for intermediate-advanced players. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends.

    Learn to sing close harmonies, sing with healthy vocal technique, and how to blend voices in this engaging choir. Sing folk and pop music from David Francey and The Beatles to Ingrid Michaleson and traditional folk songs. All levels of students welcome, no singing experience required! The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends.

    Introducing our brand new program: Adult Broadway Choir! This Winter session of the program will take you on a musical journey into one of the most beloved and powerful scores in theatre: Les Misérables. Designed for all experience levels, the choir offers guided warm-ups, harmony work, and expressive coaching while building vocal confidence and ensemble skills. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the session for family and friends.

  • March Break Rock Band

    Ever dreamed of being in a Rock Band? Come try out our Rock Band summer camp! Band mates will collaborate with one another, arrange songs, gain confidence with their stage presence and learn what it means to be in a band. Experience with music and a primary instrument is required. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the session for family and friends. All instrumentalists are welcome, but space is limited.

  • Our private and semi-private lessons are delivered on a weekly basis. Once you have registered, the day and time are yours until the end of the session you have registered for. New students have the opportunity to start with a 4 lesson Starter Pack to see if music lessons are right for them. Starter packs are for new student/teacher combinations only. Once the 4 lessons for the starter pack are complete, the student must purchase lessons that run to the end of the session, or begin a new starter pack with a new teacher.

  • Our fall term runs from September 3 - December 12. Make up lesson week is December 16-19. Recital weekend is December 14 and 15

  • Yes, we are open during the weekdays through July and August for private lessons and summer camps
