We work on a standard deal structure for all Red Bird shows.

You can use the calculator below to enter a ticket price and see how the numbers work. This is the model we use—it allows us to present shows consistently while offering strong upside when ticket sales are healthy.

At Red Bird, the goal is to price your show to sell the room. In most cases, a full room at a fair price will outperform a higher price that slows sales, both financially and in terms of the experience.

Most shows land in the $25–$50 range, depending on the artist and audience.

Why this model?

Red Bird is a small room, and shows are driven almost entirely by ticket sales—not bar revenue or walk-in traffic. As the economics of live music have shifted, bar sales no longer reliably offset the cost of presenting concerts.

This structure ensures that core costs are covered, while allowing the majority of additional revenue to flow to the artist once those costs are met.

The goal is simple: a sustainable room, and a fair, transparent deal.

A few notes:

• We cover the costs of your sound technician, door staff, hospitality, and marketing - there is no additional cost to the artist

• We do not take a percentage of merchandise sales

• Solo/Duo acts on Thursdays, solo, duo full band shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No shows Monday-Wednesday.

• If your submission is accepted, we will reply with a contract.

• We do not rent the space for private events or externally curated shows
