Throughout the program, students will learn how to communicate musically with bandmates, build arrangements, develop stage confidence, and explore the creative process behind putting together a live set.

Girls and Beyond Rock Band
For many, Rock ‘n Roll looks like a lot of fun, but not entirely inclusive. We get it. If this sounds like you, and you’re ready to rock, join our Girls & Beyond Rock Band program. In this program, students will learn the basics of musicianship and blending instruments in a rock band setting. Bandmates will collaborate with one another, arrange songs, gain confidence with their stage presence and learn what it means to be in a band.
Each participant will take on multiple roles in the band, and will not necessarily spend all their time on their primary instrument. The program will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester for family and friends. All instrumentalists are welcome, but space is limited. Experience with music and a primary instrument is required. Please email lessons@redbirdlive.ca to register.

Our private and semi-private lessons are delivered on a weekly basis. Once you have registered, the day and time are yours until the end of the session you have registered for. New students have the opportunity to start with a 4 lesson Starter Pack to see if music lessons are right for them. Starter packs are for new student/teacher combinations only. Once the 4 lessons for the starter pack are complete, the student must purchase lessons that run to the end of the session, or begin a new starter pack with a new teacher.
